Myth Vs Fact Coronavirus Edition

Myth: If you are able to hold your breath for 10 seconds, you don't have Covid-19.

Truth: Holding your breath for 10 seconds or longer does not prove that you do not have the virus, it just shows an under-average amount of lung capacity if you can't.

Myth:
Injecting or drinking chlorine prevents a person from contracting the virus.

Truth: While chlorine is used for disinfecting surfaces and treating swimming pools, there has been no data or tests that support this claim. Inhaling or drinking large amounts of chlorine can lead to vomiting and even death.

Myth: Antibiotics can't help prevent a person from contracting the virus.

Truth: Antibiotics are used to treat bacteria, not viruses. Since Covid-19 is a virus, antibiotics would not be effective in treating or preventing the virus.
