The Oil Crisis and Joe Biden

In recent weeks, a hacker group called Darkside hacked the Colonial Pipeline System, a pipeline responsible for nearly 50% of the East Coasts' oil. 

The hack consisted of a double extortion attack, where Darkside both held the pipeline offline and stole confidential data, demanding both. While there are many questions about the hackers' motives or the response to the hack, one thing is clear. Tweets like congressional candidate Chuck Callesto saying, "Wouldn't it be weird if the CYBER-ATTACK that shutdown the United States' top fuel line was an INSIDE JOB to pretend Joe Biden isn't responsible for the insane increase in gas price.." and others relating the hack to Joe Biden's incompetence is simply false.
